* There will be a series of
seeding events held across the Delaware Valley: Trenton N.J, Mt Royal N.J, North
East Philly, Center city Philly.
* A person may attend any event they wish but only need enter one time.
* At each seeding event entrants are accepted on a first come first served basis
until the quota is filled. The quota is currently eighty entrants but I may be
able to secure more dart boards to use and the quota could increase. It is
possible that all positions could be filled at the first event, but I doubt it.
* A place in the tournament is secured through paying the $30 entrance fee
(includes lunch) for which the entrant receives guaranteed participation in five
events: one is the seeding event held at the time and place at which the entrant
pays the entrance fee, the other four are matches held on May 4th.
* If an entrant is not pleased with their seeding score they can pay another $5
and try again. This may be done as often as the entrant pleases but only the
highest score will be used.
* Seeding score will be used in three ways. First it will place the entrant into
one of three groups, the higher the group the more money is available to be won.
Second the matches in the finals qualifier will be made on a shaunessy playoff
basis where the higher seeds play the lower seeds. Third, in the event of ties
for the top four places following the four finals qualifier rounds, seeding
scores will be used in most cases to break the ties. (this is outlined in a
"Rules of Play" paper the entrant will receive on the day of the tournament: May
4th).
* The entrants are divided into three groups based upon their seeding score.
Twenty into Group A, forty into Group B and twenty into Group C at eighty
entrants.
* Anyone of "Elite" status may only compete in Group A.
* Group A people will play 501 FSDO in every match, Group B people will play 401
FSDO in every match, Group C people will play 301 FSDO in every match. It is
best of five games in each match.
* It will be a challenging day for every entrant, but especially so for those in
Group A.
* Group A people win 10 points for each game and 10 bonus points for winning a
match. Group B people win 10 points per game for each game won against other
Group B or C people but 15 points per game won against Group A people, and a 10
point bonus for winning a match. Group C people win 10 points for each game won
against other Group C people, 15 points for each game won against Group B
people, and 20 points for each game won against Group A people, plus a 10 point
bonus for winning a match.
* Each entrant will play one from Group A, two from Group B and one from Group
C. There are some changes in the A, BB, C routine, depending on the number of
entrants but that will only be one match.
* Following the four rounds of finals competition the top four in points total
will play for position in the money. High plays low, middle two play. Winners
and losers play.
