Congratulations to all the winners at the 18th Annual Virginia Beach Dart Classic! I’m so very proud of everyone that came out and shot their best. Those of you that weren’t able to make it missed a wonderful event. We made new friends, won trophies and had a great time!
As usual you guys made me very proud to be associated with the TADA Youth Dart Program! You showed great sportsmanship, shot great darts, and treated the out of town guest like your own family! For that you are all winners!
In addition, I’d like to thank everyone that came out and helped to make the tournament such a great success. A special thanks to the following:
Don Klugh – Assistant Youth Director
Tempie Gargaro – Registration
Joey Gargaro – Brackets
Without these three people, we could not have had such a smooth running tournament like we did. A Big Round of Applause for these three!

We made some new friends this past tournament that came all the way from Philadelphia to shoot, Chris Doctor, Matthew Berstecker, JR Daut, Ricky Rivera & Alex Broderick. These young men also did very well and each took home trophies. Some of them also sold taffey to help with the cost of their trip.
In addition, we had an incident where someone had taken 3 sets of darts from George Sizemore from Bit of England. Everyone pitched in to help raise money to replace the missing darts. Chris Doctor gave back his Certificate which George donates to the youth winners in an attempt to help George recover some of his losses. His kind efforts touch all of us. We felt Chris should have been rewarded for his kind gesture and presented him with a Dart Classis T-Shirt signed by many of the Top Ranked Pros, as well as many others from the tournament.
All of these kids as well as their families have become part of our TADA family, and we look forward to seeing them all again very soon!
